About Matt Anderson
MA, LPC — Licensed Professional Counselor
Therapy is the next step of your journey.
You are worth feeling better. If you are lost, hurting, confused, in pain, or just don't know what to do next — please contact me and see if we're a good match.
I specialize in trauma, childhood trauma, childhood emotional neglect (CEN), addiction, codependency, and men's issues. My approach focuses on addressing the wounded psychological "parts" developed during childhood that continue operating in adulthood, often triggering unhealthy coping mechanisms.
My goal is to help you organize and heal these fragmented aspects of self — guiding you toward improved life circumstances through down to earth, practical, and insightful solutions in a timely and comfortable manner.
My Mission
Many of us carry wounded parts from childhood that run the show in our adult lives. These parts were adaptive once — they helped us survive difficult circumstances. But they often create patterns of codependence, addiction, and chronic chaos that keep us stuck.
The work of therapy is to explore these wounded inner parts, understand their origins, and facilitate the reorganization and healing that allows you to finally live differently.
"Recovery is not about changing who you are, but about letting go of who you're not." — Pia Mellody
